Talent hunting on twitter- Charlie’s tweet

Yes you have just hired an in house intern or an agency to create a twitter channel to push all your recruitment offers on twitter and are waiting for the resumes to flood in.

Why? Because they are all doing it.

Or in some cases you have hired Charlie Sheen to Tweet on your behalf, for your recruitment offer.

Charlie in this case pushed one tweet which created 95,333 clicks in an hour, reached 181 countries and brought in 82,148 resume applications.

Tweeting can be a mindless typing of incessant dribble with even more maniacal hashtags. Or it can be the quality of what you tweet and whether you really have the reach quotient that matters.

Paid tweets work when the person has a following. Now let’s get ready for those celebrities to endorse brands on Twitter  and Facebook just like they did on TV for years.

Can you smell the money?
